Hartung Brothers has grown, graded, and shipped quality raw cucumbers since 1997, operating in six states and the Canadian province of Ontario. Recently, in response to customer needs, the company has expanded into organic cucumber production in its home state of Wisconsin. Everywhere, Hartung Brothers operates its own cucumber sorting and grading facilities. HBI uses sister logistics company H&N Logistics, LLC to haul our from fields to our grader, and from our grader to the customer, so the crops are only in our hands “from dirt to dock.”

Emphasizing flexibility, Hartung Brothers provides a reliable source of green cucumbers to customers of all sizes, from the biggest pickle factories to the smallest craft pickling business, throughout the growing season (approximately June – October). Throughout the year, Hartung Brothers can provide salt stocked pickling cucumbers from its extensive tank yard inventory, where cucumbers are preserved per customer-specified chemistry.

HBI welcomes both contracted customers, who receive first priority to cucumbers as they are harvested and reporting communications on cucumber availability, and also ad hoc customers who purchase their cucumbers as-needed and as-available.
